Music Workshop

Saturday 17th November

"Sing a New Song to the Lord"

At our last parish Retreat the Conductor, Canon Jeremy Davies, inspired us and encouraged us in our musical appreciation and spontaneous singing. Jeremy is the Precentor at Salisbury Cathedral, the Canon with responsibility for the worship. He is very relaxed and has the skill to get everybody involved with singing and music generally.

Canon Davies has agreed to run a "Music Workshop" at St Mary's on Saturday 17th November. Music and singing plays a very important part in our worship and music has a very special way of enabling us to express our love and devotion to God.

This is an event not to be missed. You may think you can't sing, or have no musical ability, but with Jeremy's encouragement you will soon learn that with company and a little help we can all make a joyful noise! Come and listen, come and share your experience and have an enjoyable day.

No booking needed - just turn up.
