Everyone Welcome
Those joining in are invited to bring along their own Bibles.
Each year, the season of Lent is that time when the world-wide Christian community is encouraged to reflect upon Jesus' own forty days in the wilderness preparing for his earthly ministry that led to (and through) the Good Friday Cross before His triumph of Easter and beyond.
Each Wednesday this Lent we shall be talking and reflecting upon the similar, yet also distinctive and different, "snapshots" of Jesus' journey to the Cross that the four Gospel writers Matthew, Mark, Luke and John present to us - following the insights of the "Suffering Servant" of the Old Testament. Fascinating - but deeply challenging!
Come and share in this Bible and Gospel exploration!
Also being held at St. Simon and St. Jude, Milton-on-Stour at 2.15pm on Wednesdays.
