Groups and activities

draft page

There are a number of groups and activities associated with St. Mary's. Some enhance our worship (choir, music group, servers etc.), some call us to it (bell ringers), others provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other, to grow in our faith and / or to engage in the building of the Kingdom of God - a reign of justice and peace - on earth.

Visit the "study" section of this website for more about activities related to learning more about our faith;
see the "Christian action" section for activities related to building the kingdom here (i.e. in the community around us and further afield).

Obviously there is some overlap - the Mothers' Union is listed here although meets for a prayer group and raises money for activities which would be classified as Christian Action.

Further information is (or soon will be) available about each of the groups / activities listed below, together with a contact from whom you can get more details if you are interested in getting involved.

  • LPAs (Lay Pastoral Assistants)
