About this page

Notices are mainly those from the weekly pew sheet - most recent are at the top of the page. Most notices from the weekly sheet will be included, but a few will be omitted / changed if the content (e.g. for privacy or security reasons) is not appropriate for display to the whole world.

(Notices shown on the weekly sheet more than once will only appear here once, but will not be deleted until they cease to be of relevance.)

Been away?

The week the notice first appeared is shown - if you have been away and not got a pew sheet you can see what was on it.

No room on the weekly sheet?

Of course, space here is not restricted in the way it is on the weekly sheet so please let the webmaster know if you have a notice you would like added here.

News flashes are a way of enabling a number of people to be able to add news to this page - without needing to code or upload web pages. This is particularly for sudden or urgent news. Contact the webmaster to be given access to updating this.

Greeting cards supporting the Sudan

Greetings cards (blank for own message) will be on sale in the Vicarage Schoolroom after Sunday Services in aid of the Salisbury Diocesan Sudan Medical and General Funds. Various attractive hand-crafted designs. 40p each or £3.50 for 10.

Recipe book

Following the ‘Just Desserts and all that Jazz’ evening we have decided to compile a recipe book.

Those of you who could not attend the ‘Just Desserts and all that Jazz’ evening will soon, we hope, have a chance to try the delicious soups and puds on offer then.

Please could those who provided desserts last autumn let us have the recipes for inclusion? We hope to sell the books at the Spring Fair so the sooner we get the information the better. Just a note of caution – please ensure these have a personal or family ‘tweak’ and are not copied word for word from a recipe book. The copyright rules are very specific over this and I am sure you would not like to see the book’s editors behind bars!

The recipes may be left in church for me or the church office. Many thanks.
